Great resource! This would be great for note taking/generation in any area of education. I would have to wonder how accurate the information is on some subjects since they can be edited by anyone and everyone. I still find it a bit hard to find blogs and pieces of info on specific topics sometimes. So much to choose from.

if you are worried about stuff on a wiki you create, you can control who has access and the history will allow you to restore things that get changed incorrectly!
A wiki would be a great way for the science department members to communicate between meetings. Membership can be limited just to team members.
